Lacey Wallace
Clinical Director

Lacey is an experienced counselor dedicated to working with children, teens, young adults, and their parents. Whether it’s navigating familial changes, worry/anxiety, executive functioning and academic challenges, or difficulty regulating emotions, Lacey provides a safe space for growth and healing. She offers evidence-based, practical recommendations to ensure that families experience relief as soon as possible. Like each of the therapists on the Egan Counseling & Consulting team, Lacey has a special interest in supporting families experiencing separation and/or divorce.

Caitlyn Andersen
MS, NCC, LCMHCA, LCASA (she/her)
Caitlyn is a dedicated therapist with a passion for helping children, teens and their families find their path to health and well-being. She specializes in familial changes, transitions, anger management, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictions. Caitlyn has experience working in high levels of care as a PRTF (psychiatric residential treatment facility) therapist and is able to assist clients in regulating intense emotions with a calm approach. Like each of the therapists on the Egan Counseling & Consulting team, Caitlyn has a special interest in supporting families experiencing separation and/or divorce.

Matthew Murphy
MS, LCMHC, LCASA, NCC (he/him)
Matthew is an experienced counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and parents as they encounter life transitions, self-esteem issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and difficulty regulating emotions. Matthew has experience working in high levels of care within residential addiction treatment centers and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Centers for co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns. Matthew enjoys utilizing a person-centered and holistic approach while incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, compassionate inquiry, motivational interviewing, and emotion-focused techniques. Like each of the therapists on the Egan Counseling & Consulting team, Matthew has a special interest in supporting families experiencing separation and/or divorce.

Tara Egan
LCMHC, LPC, D.Ed. (she/her)
Dr. Egan is the proud owner of Egan Counseling & Consulting and has dedicated herself to providing mental health support for children, teens, and parents for over 23 years. Although Dr. Egan’s extensive experience has focused on working with children and teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, temper tantrums, power struggles, defiance, school avoidance, and social skill deficits, her work and Egan Counseling & Consulting have now grown into a practice that is known to assist families through the complexities of separation and divorce.

Melissa Franz
MSW, LCSWA (she/her)
Melissa Franz is a devoted therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and couples as they encounter anxiety/OCD, trauma, life changes, disability, peer relationships, family conflict, and grief. Melissa has experience working in Counseling and Psychological Services in a higher education setting and can help clients navigate difficult life transitions. Melissa also has experience working in Vocational Rehabilitation and aids individuals in connecting with their support network to set themself up for success.

Julie Clark
Practice Manager (she/her)
Julie’s education and career have been primarily focused on marketing, sales, and account management. Whether working in the food industry, real estate, advertising, or self-development, Julie has always contributed to her employer’s growth by driving sales, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering customer loyalty.
As a coach (business, career, life) both professionally and personally, she helps individuals explore issues, unblock barriers, see different perspectives, and increase their options before supporting them in making a decision and creating an action plan to achieve their desired outcome.
As the Practice Manager for Egan Counseling & Consulting, Julie wears many hats, tapping into all her past experiences. She provides leadership in strategic planning, guiding, and coordinating practice operations, with a focus on service and operational excellence. Her overall objective is to manage the business affairs of the office and consult with prospective clients, allowing the therapists to concentrate on session work and their clients’ needs.
