Kyle Heinicke

Kyle Heinicke, LCMHCA, NCC, (pronouns: he/him) is a compassionate and experienced counselor who works with adolescents, adults, parents, and couples as they encounter familial changes, life transitions, self-esteem issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and difficulty regulating emotions.

Kyle joined the Egan Counseling & Consulting team after obtaining extensive training and experience in working with couples (Gottman 1 & 2 trained). His training in couples counseling will serve our clients who 1) are seeking support to heal their marriage, or 2) have decided to separate or divorce and need coparenting therapy to develop a healthy and productive coparenting relationship.

Kyle enjoys integrating holistic person-centered approaches in therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and somatic techniques. His goal is to foster a safe environment for clients to be their authentic selves and explore their strengths and challenges at a comfortable pace. Kyle is passionate about nature and outdoors and, when appropriate, will bring sessions outdoors for a more engaging experience. Like each of the therapists on the Egan Counseling & Consulting team, Kyle has a special interest in supporting families experiencing separation and/or divorce. Kyle is also now accepting new reunification cases and is ready to assist families in need.
